Our prayer today has been to see Jesus lifted up! We have been in town all day volunteering with Gordon. He has been so thankful for all of our help. It normally takes him about 5 weeks to prepare for this event. We have been able to cut that down quit a bit. He has been such a joy to get to know & work with.
We have been working on a float for the parade, building & painting barricades, & meeting lots of locals on the bus. We are so excited to see all that the Lord is going to do through us this summer. Everyday we have met someone new. Today we met a guy named Richard, a local that works at Pizza Hut. He is very interested in why we are here & also going hiking with us. We have about 4 local "college aged" students that want to go hiking with us. It has been great to meet some people & connect on their level.
Robbie is working hard to put together "No Parking" signs. He has great skills with the drill!!
